Message from the President

Welcome to the Affordable Housing Association of Indiana (AHA) web site! We hope you will return again and again as we continue to improve the site.

AHA is a not-for-profit trade association established in 1983 of approximately 300 property management companies in the state of Indiana, from single owner, corporation, partnership and other organizations which own one or more Rural Affordable Housing project(s), or which is a public housing authority or a full-time employee of either of the agencies, representing over 13,000 Affordable Housing apartment units.

AHA is the only association that solely represents the needs of the rural rental housing industry in Indiana, through education, networking, promoting professionalism, initiating the cooperation and exchange of information among our membership, relating important industry information, and encouraging ethical practices within the Affordable Housing industry. AHA is committed to providing a respected voice for its members, and it regularly meets with key members of USDA Rural Development, IHCDA, and HUD to discuss affordable multi-family housing in Indiana.

Recognizing that knowledge is the key to a successful career, AHA ensures that its members remain the best informed in the industry. AHA members have access to timely and insightful publications, meetings, seminars, training programs, and nationally recognized education designations.

If you have further questions that cannot be answered by the website,
please call the staff at 866-546-7742.

Thank you.
Cynthia Snider, AHA President
